Hymn Scripture Challenge with Patter Cross - #4 - Standing on the Promises

For this fortnight Patter gave us a lovely old hymn called " Standing on the Promises" by Russell Kelso Carter. If you would like the read the story behind the hymn write please visit Patter's blog  HERE

On the Hymn page I created I decided to share my favourite verse from the hymn and I have used a digital kit called Love Birds by Siamese Studio.
For my scripture I chose to use what I feel is the very best of God's promises in His word. Throughout God's word there are many many promises  which we can claim. How wonderful to know for sure that you can have eternal life. It is not something we earn or deserve. It is a free gift from God because of what Jesus did for us on the Cross and the fact that He rose to life.
