His Holy Name Challenge #26 - Immanuel
This is the last of the Scripture Challenges on Faith Sisters for this year.
Next year, Patter Cross who has hosted this challenge will not be doing so from Faith Sisters but plans on hosting a Scripture Challenge from her Blog : http://triplethescraps.blogspot.com/
On my page I have used the first verse from a song we sang the last two Sundays in Church and has become a favourite of mine because of the words and the tune:

His Holy Name Challenge #25 - Messiah
This is my latest Scripture Challenge Art.
This challenge has been happening at Faith Sisters and hosted by Patter Cross.
Next year Patter will host another Scripture Challenge but it will only be through her blog. I hope to again take part.
This time I have used a kit called Fruit of the Spirit - Love by Melissa Daniels.
This kit was part of a gift from Nikki of Just Passin Thru. Nikki gave me a voucher as a gift for being on her Creative Team. The voucher was to this designers products and I am glad I bought this kit as I did enjoy using it for this little 6 x 6 page I created.

His Holy Name Challenge at Faith Sisters #24 - Provider
Again for this Challenge at Faith Sister, once I read the word "Provider" a favourite chorus of mine came to mind so I included the first half of that chorus plus the Bible verse it is based on.
The digital kit I used is called Affections of the Heart by Deanna Patterson and is available at Nuts 4 Digi.
That chorus is so much a favourite of mine that I have asked my husband to have it sung at my funeral. The words are great and the tune is so lively.. when I sing it, it makes me want to dance which I do subtlely move my feet about whenever I lead that song at Church.
His Holy Name Challenge at Faith Sisters #23 - Banner
This challenge was an easy one to do as the song that is based on this scripture came to my mind once I read the Word for us to use was "Banner"
I have used a kit called Life Canvas by Thao Cosgrove ( at Scrap Girls)
It was exciting to discover that this week over at Faith Sisters where this Challenge is run, my little piece was chosen for the Made Ya Look Monday.

His Holy Name Challenge at Faith Sisters #21
This is my art for the current Scripture Challenge.
This is a digital page created using a kit called No Greater Love by Lifesong Creations and the edging is an overlay by Valerie Randall.
I chose this kit because for some reason when I here the word "sanctify" the colour "white" comes to my mind - hence the white lilies and the background paper in the kit was perfect because of the cross of Christ.

His Holy Name Challenge at Faith Sisters #18
This is page for the latest scripture challenge at Faith Sisters. We were given the word "ROCK" being an attribute of God.
The photo I used on my little 6 x6 page is of Ayers Rock ( that was its name when I saw it ) now known as Uluru. This was back in 1975 when I went on a bus camping trip around Australia. I actually did climb the rock. I think nowadays tourists are not allowed to climb to the top. I used to have a T Shirt saying "I Climbed Ayers Rock".

His Holy Name Challenge at Faith Sisters #12
The challenge this time was to look at the attribute of God that He is the "God Who Sees"
The eyes on my page are a brush I obtained from PhotoshopFree Brushes.
The kit used for my page is this month's collab kit at Life-Scrappers and is a very nice kit which is called "A Fathers Love"
This week this piece of art of mine is among featured pieces at Faith Sisters: http://faith-sisters.blogspot.com/2009/07/june-challenge-features-winners.html

His Holy Name Challenge at Faith Sisters #10
For this challenge the name we were given to work with was "Lord".
The day I put this page together I was not feeling very well and I forgot to add shadows to make it look more real.
The verse from a song I have shared on this is a favourite one of mine ( I have lots of favourites that we sing in worship at Church).

His Holy Name Challenge at Faith Sisters #5
The word was "Creator".
I found the hand holding the world image in clip art and felt it conveyed the meaning of God being the Creator. I was not sure what background paper to use and when looking I stumbled across this one I already had in my stash of Michael Angelos famous painting depicting God and Man and felt it was perfect for this.
The Paper is by Elizabeth Weaver and the text path I used for the scripture is by Sine.
His Holy Name Challenge at Faith Sisters #4
His Holy Name Challenge at Faith Sisters #3
This was one I really enjoyed putting together.
When I read the devotion that went with the Word for this challenge a story I once read came to my mind. The story was about a mother hen protecting her chicks during a fire in the farmyard... she covered them with her wings.. she died but they survived.
I found the photo of the hen and chickens somewhere on the internet.
The digital kit I used was Counting the Ways by Heidi Williams.
